Stefani Jaye Farris

Stefani Jaye Farris is the author of the story collection Nothing is Precious, the inaugural publication in the John Keeble Series of Rural American Writers. The manuscript was a finalist for the Iowa Award for Short Fiction and a two-time semifinalist for The Journal’s Non/Fiction Award. Stefani is the recipient of two literary fellowships from the Wyoming Arts Council, as well as the Council’s Neltje Blanchan Award for nature writing and the Frank Nelson Doubleday Award for women writers. She has been awarded two fellowships from the Ucross Foundation and was a writer-in-residence at the Island Institute in Sitka, Alaska. Stefani’s work appears in Zyzzyva, the Colorado Review, Epiphany Magazine, Passages North, Gray’s Sporting Journal, Third Coast, and elsewhere.
