Alan Winters, Treasurer
Alan Winters worked in the investment management business for over 30 years as an analyst, portfolio manager, Chief Investment Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Kingdon Capital Management. During that time, he took a two-year sabbatical to teach elementary school in the Bronx. After leaving Kingdon in 2016, Alan created a successful executive coaching practice.
Alan served on the Board of University Settlement House for twenty-three years, seven of which was as Chairman of the Board. He is active with the UJA of New York, where he is a founding member of Solelim, a venture philanthropy group and Chair of the Network Planning and Allocations Committee. He also serves on the Board and as head of the Investment Committee of the Leo Baeck Institute of New York, and on the Board and as Treasurer of the Aspen Pines Water and Sewer District.
Alan has a BA in Finance from Lehigh University, an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a MEd in Education from Lehman College.
