Alison Engel

After a career at large advertising agencies on both Coasts, and a break to wrangle some kids, Alison Engel has enjoyed every minute of running a successful, small business organizing, curating and facilitating book groups for adults and for parents and their children for the past decade. Whether helping young reluctant readers to become voracious bookworms or winning skeptical adult readers over to a book’s worth, Alison loves her work. And her job lets her read in the middle of the day without guilt! Alison commutes between Jackson, where she lives, and the San Francisco Bay Area where her groups are based.
