Rep. Liz Storer

First elected in 2022, Liz serves as the Representative from Teton County for House District 23 in the Wyoming State Legislature, where she serves on the Travel, Recreation, Wildlife and Cultural Resources, Revenue, and Capital Financing and Investments committees. As a citizen legislator, she also heads the George B. Storer Foundation, where she has led the effort to engage two new generations of her family, restructure the foundation’s governance, revamp its investment policy, hire its first staff and adopt and execute a strategic plan focused on conservation, early childhood education, climate and democracy initiatives. A passionate angler and conservationist, Liz was the first woman to serve on the US Fly Fishing team in 1997 and received the Conservation Leadership Award from the Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership in 2019. Liz holds B.A. and M.F.A. degrees from the Cinema School at the University of Southern California. She enjoys fishing, cycling, mountain biking, hiking and skiing with her husband, Luther Propst, who is also an elected official, currently serving on the Teton County Commission.
